Open the Alexa app on your mobile device. Find then click on skills & games. Search for ‘Blink SmartHome’, you can then follow the step by step on screen instructions from this point onwards.
Connecting your Blink Mini camera up to Alexa enabled devices will allow you to control your camera using your voice.
You will then be able to use voice commands such as..
“Alexa, ask Blink when was the last motion clip”
or
”Alexa, show me (Camera Name)”
As a couple of examples.
Note: Unfortunately, UK users cannot use Alexa routines or motion announcements currently. We will update you if/when this changes.

Step 1
Find and Open the ‘Amazon Alexa’ app on your mobile device.
The app will look something like this..

In the bottom right hand corner there will be an icon with three lines and the title ‘More’ click on that.
Step 3
Find ‘skills & games and then click on it.
Step 4
Using the search icon in the top right hand corner of the screen.. search for ‘Blink SmartHome’ and then click on the top result.
You then want to click on the ‘ENABLE TO USE’ button that will appear next.
Step 5
You should now have been taken to a ‘Sign In’ screen asking for your email, password and 4 digit security pin which you should have created when you made your Blink account.
*If you’ve not already made a blink account you will need to make one first before you can complete this step.
Step 6
Once you’ve typed in the details asked for in step 5 you will be sent to a page that asks you to type in a verification code.
Mine was sent to my mobile number and was 6 digit code.
I then clicked on ‘verify code’ which took me to a page saying that I had successfully linked my Blink Mini.
Final Step
On this step you can click on the button that says ‘launch’ and then select which device you want to launch your Blink Mini on.
This is what happened when I clicked launch and selected my Echo Show 5.
Voice Commands You Can Use
Here are some examples of the voice commands you can use:
To View Live feed: ‘Alexa, show me (Camera Name)’, or to exit: ‘Alexa hide me (camera name)’.
To ask for detailed status: ‘Alexa, ask Blink what my detailed status is’.
